A 13-member delegation of Independent Parliament Human Rights Committee (IPHRC) are visiting the Cox’s Bazar for a two-day visit.A meeting was held at conference hall of Deputy commissioner on the issue of displaced Myanmar’s Nationals in Cox’s Bazar on Thursday 4th January. Md.Ali Hossain DC of Coxbazar presided over the meeting.
The chairman of the IPHRC syeed Rashid Al Balushi, vice-chairman Mad SK Cagwai and Dr. Rohainah Bint Abdullah, former member of the committee, Diplomat Mohammad Jamir, and other members of the delegation were also present on the ocassion.
Deputy Commissioner Md.Ali Hossain explained the overall situation of Kutupalong and Balukhali Rohingya camps. Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Kazi Md. Abdur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner NDC AKM Lutfar Rahman and Tanvir Ahmed along with the officers as well as concerned officials from the IPHRC were present among others.
