RAB-15 has arrested a drug dealer with one crore taka of yaba. The name of the arrested Yaba dealer is Md. Ayas Uddin (25). An expedition team of RAB-15 conducted an operation on the west side of Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway on the south side of Haji Mohammad Hossain & Sons Manson in Amtalia Para of Ramu football ground at around 1 pm on October 26. Yaba tablets recovered. Along with the arrested Ayas Uddin, two other Yaba traders escaped at that time RAB-15 Assistant Director (Media) and
Assistant Superintendent of Police Abdullah Mohammad Sheikh Saadi said in a press release The arrested Ayas Uddin is the son of Abdul Karim and Laila Begum of Daktarkata village in Ward 8 of Kaschapia union of Ramu upazila. In a press release issued by RAB-15, each of the seized yaba tablets was valued at BDT- 500 to BDT-1 crore. The recovered yaba tablets and ne arrested accused have already been handed over to Ramu police station for further legal action, the press release said. Attempts are being made to bring the two fugitive accused under the law.
